How much will it cost me to lease a new car from Carnoisseur Leasing?

What cars can you supply?

Absolutely anything. As long as it’s brand new, we can supply it.

I normally get my cars from the nearest dealer. They always seem to give me a good price - why should I try Carnoisseur Leasing?

We can beat the prices of most car dealerships. Several factors contribute to our extremely competitive prices; these include low overheads, fleet discounts and close relationships with all the leading finance companies. If, however, your local dealer is able to offer a particularly good deal, we can even arrange to supply you the vehicle through them!

Isn't leasing for businesses only?

Absolutely not. Traditionally businesses have leased cars because they recognised the advantages of fixed-cost motoring. In recent years however personal leasing has become increasingly popular as more and more people become aware of the significant benefits.

Why are all the prices on your website and in your stores shown excluding VAT?

As previously stated, car leasing is traditionally associated with businesses. As a result of this the industry is used to quoting prices excluding VAT. At Carnoisseur Leasing we are committed to offering a complete, transparent service with no hidden fees or charges. We decided to show our prices excluding VAT so that it is clear just how competitive our prices are when compared to our competitors; however when you talk to one of our advisors we will quickly establish whether you are interested in a personal or business contract, and quote you the total price.

Don't I have to stick to an agreed mileage?

A yearly mileage is agreed at the beginning of your contract. This is typically between 8,000 and 20,000 miles a year. Your mileage allowance is tailored to your specific needs.

Don't I have to pay a large deposit?

No, we only require a deposit equal to three month’s payments. A larger deposit can be provided if the customer wishes to reduce their monthly payments. Again, we can tailor the deal to your specific needs.

How long will it take to deliver my car?

When you enquire about a specific vehicle we will be able to give you a pretty accurate idea of when it is likely to arrive. We always do our best to ensure that delivery is as quick as possible.

Do I have to pay for delivery of my new car?

No you don’t. Delivery of the vehicle to an address of your choice within mainland UK is absolutely free. Delivery charges to Northern Ireland may apply.

How do I insure my leased car?

Leased cars are insured in exactly the same way as cars financed by other methods. You will need to take out a fully comprehensive policy. Carnoisseur Leasing are able to offer their customers special deals on insurance - please enquire for full details.

Do I pay for servicing?

We can offer you two types of contract - either maintained or non-maintained. Contracts with maintenance have increased monthly charges to cover the cost of routine servicing, tyres, etc. Contracts without maintenance do not include the cost of servicing and tyres. There are advantages to both types of contract, however we normally recommend non-maintained contracts as service intervals for new cars continue to increase, and manufacturer’s warranties cover any serious problems that may occur.

What happens if I exceed my mileage allowance?

An excess mileage rate will be confirmed at the beginning of your contract. If you exceed your mileage allowance you will be charged the appropriate fee when your contract comes to an end. If it becomes apparent that you are likely to do more, or indeed, less miles then you originally expected then your contract can be renegotiated at any time.

What if I want to cancel my contract early?

Typically, you will be charged 50% of the total outstanding payments.

What happens at the end of my contract?

We will send you plenty of reminders to let you know that your contract is coming to an end, and that you will soon need a new car. Arrangements will be made for the vehicle to be collected at a suitable time. Collection of the vehicle is free.

Are the prices for businesses the same as prices for personal users?

Normally, yes. The only difference is that businesses can claim back all or part of the VAT that they pay on the rentals dependent on how the vehicle is used. Also, we use a range of finance companies in order to get the best deals for our customers: sometimes one of these finance companies will offer a deal that's available to businesses only, so the rate can differ for personal users. However, there's always a range of good deals available for personal users.
